This Privacy Policy explains how BEST BARCODE ENTERPRISES, trading as “Best IT Solutions” (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal information — both through our website at bestit.in and through the messaging services we provide on the WhatsApp Business Platform.

We provide WhatsApp Business Platform messaging services to other businesses (our “client businesses”). For most message data, our client businesses decide why and how the data is used and act as the data controller; we process that data on their behalf and under their instructions to deliver the service.

1.Who we are

BEST BARCODE ENTERPRISES is a company registered in India, operating under the brand “Best IT Solutions”. We offer software, barcode and business-messaging solutions, including services built on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. Our registered address is M-49-A, 2nd Floor, Gali No-4, New Mahabir Nagar, Delhi 110018, India.

2.Scope of this policy

This policy applies to:

  • Website visitors — people who browse bestit.in or contact us through it.
  • Client businesses — businesses that use our platform to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
  • Message recipients — the end customers our client businesses communicate with over WhatsApp.

3.Information we collect

3.1 From website visitors

  • Contact details you submit through forms (such as name, email address, phone number and your message).
  • Technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3.2 From client businesses (account data)

  • Business and contact details, WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) identifiers, connected phone numbers and billing information needed to set up and run the service.
  • Authentication credentials and access tokens used to connect to the WhatsApp Business Platform on the client’s behalf.

3.3 Message data processed on behalf of client businesses

  • Message content (text, media and template messages) sent or received through the platform.
  • Recipient phone numbers and profile information made available by WhatsApp.
  • Message metadata such as timestamps, delivery and read status, and template status.

4.How we use information

  • To provide, operate, maintain and support our messaging and software services.
  • To onboard client businesses, connect their WhatsApp Business Accounts and send messages on their behalf.
  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our website and communicate about our services.
  • To secure our services, prevent abuse and fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and the platform terms that govern our services.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use message content processed on behalf of client businesses for our own unrelated purposes.

5.WhatsApp and Meta platform data

Our messaging services rely on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. When we process data obtained through this platform, we do so to deliver the messaging service our client businesses have requested, and in accordance with the applicable WhatsApp Business and Meta Platform Terms and policies. We use WhatsApp/Meta data only for providing and supporting these services and not for any purpose incompatible with those terms.

6.Legal bases for processing

Depending on the situation and applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Consent — for example, where you contact us or where a message recipient has opted in to receive messages.
  • Performance of a contract — to provide the services our client businesses have signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure, improve and support our services, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.

7.How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our services, including with:

  • Meta Platforms, to send and receive messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • Our client businesses, whose customers’ messages we process on their behalf.
  • Service providers and sub-processors (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) who support our operations under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or to protect our legal rights.

8.Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Message data processed on behalf of a client business is retained according to that client’s instructions and our agreement with them, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

9.Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other laws that may apply to you), you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to raise a grievance. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

If you are a message recipient, requests about your data are often best directed to the client business that messaged you, as they control that communication; we will support them in responding to your request.

10.Requesting deletion of your data

You can request deletion of your personal information by emailing us at info@bestitsolutions.in with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will verify your request and delete the relevant data unless we are required to retain it by law. Where the data was processed on behalf of a client business, we will act on that client’s instructions to delete it.

11.Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption of credentials and access tokens, secure transmission over HTTPS/TLS, and limiting access to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

12.International data transfers

We are based in India, and the WhatsApp Business Platform and some of our service providers may process data in other countries. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.

13.Cookies
